Excess - $2500.00 (or $3500 for 4WD and Stationwagon) plus GST, this is required as a BOND payable through Credit Card or Cash. This excess can be reduced to $225 plus GST by purchasing EXCESS REDUCTION INSURANCE at $24.00 (plus GST) per day( for economy, compact, intermediate, standard) or $27.00 (plus GST) per day(for luxury, 4WD, luxury van). Or the INSURANCE PROTECTION PACKAGE is $28.00 (plus GST) per day (for economy, compact, intermediate, standard) or $30.00 (plus GST) per day for luxury, 4WD, luxury van). This includes excess reduction insurance, personal accident insurance and personal effects and baggage insurance. Excess Reduction also includes complete cover for windscreen damage.

Minimum Rental Age is 21 years
A one way fee of $50 + GST will apply per rental
An Airport Concession Fee (or ferry) of $30.00 + GST applys per hire
Remote Location Surcharge of $50.00 plus GST is applicable to rentals for these locations:
Greymouth, Hokitika, Westport, Gisborne, Kerikeri on all Car Groups
Excess of $2500.00 + GST applys to car rentals
Excess of $3000.00 + GST applys to Station wagon, van and 4WD vehicles
Minimum hire period is 3 days for all car groups
Minimum hire period is 5 days in each island for the luxury van and 4WD
A valid drivers licence must have been held by the renter for a minimum of one year
Cancellation Policy:
If cancellation made within 24 hours of arrival ~ loss of 100.00% of the total booking price
